Our team attended ETHDenver, the largest and longest-running Ethereum event in the world!

ETHDenver 2024 was an electrifying convergence of web3 developers, innovators, and enthusiasts worldwide. Renowned as a flagship Ethereum event, it united a wide range of projects, dialogues, and partnerships, propelling the frontiers of web3 and nurturing a dynamic community ethos.

This year, we had two shining stars from our team representing us: Marta Adamczyk, our Head of Business Development and Dev Relations who attended last year, and Brittany Seales, our Head of Marketing. 🌟

What is ETHDenver?

ETHDenver stands as the premier Web3 #BUIDLathon, drawing Ethereum and blockchain protocol enthusiasts, designers, and developers from across the globe. Its primary mission? To give back to the community long after the event's conclusion, serving as an incubator and launchpad for ongoing project funding initiatives.

During ETHDenver, community members actively contribute to enriching the global blockchain ecosystem. They dive into creating dApps, spearheading or participating in infrastructure projects, crafting tutorials and whitepapers, refining UI/UX designs, and producing engaging infographics.

How was the vibe this year?

The atmosphere in Denver was electric and as busy as last year's. The prevailing sentiment was notably more optimistic, likely influenced by the significantly improved conditions in the crypto market.

Three major narratives stole the spotlight this year: AI agents, Rollups, and DePIN. There was a constant buzz around these topics everywhere you looked.

Polkadot Mini Summit Event

We kicked off our presence at ETHDenver by securing a coveted speaking slot at the Mini Summit, held at the main venue during the hackathon. Here, we delved into the intricacies of multi-chain indexing, presenting a 25-minute tech talk followed by a detailed code walkthrough.

Marta rocking her presentation as always! 😉👏

ETH Epic Infra Day

The next day, we attended the ETH Epic Infra Day where we were one of the sponsors of the event. At this event, we attended a smaller but more niche side event which was not as busy as others but certainly drew around 100 relevant attendees.

Despite its size, it proved to be the perfect setting for some of the most meaningful conversations we had throughout the entire event. With a keynote speech highlighting the capabilities of the SubQuery Network, covering indexing and RPCs, along with our engaging booth presence, we made quite the impression here.

Polkadot Booth at EthDenver

On the third day of the conference, we secured a coveted spot at the Polkadot booth, alongside esteemed projects like StellaSwap, Vara Network, Metis, and DeStore.

We made the most of our time by reconnecting with friends, partners, and customers. The booth served as an ideal meeting spot, allowing us to conduct valuable customer interviews and strengthen our relationships within the community.

Meeting familiar faces at ETHDenver

Despite the chilly weather in Denver, the experience of connecting with customers from across the globe was both humbling and invigorating. Meeting some of them for the first time added an extra layer of excitement. Moreover, receiving overwhelmingly positive feedback about our services filled us with deep gratitude.

Fantastic reunion with Martin, co-founder of Ternoa, one of our earliest customers!
We met Adam from the Centrifuge dev team for the first time (also one of our newer customers) who had extremely positive comments about our team’s 24/7 support.
Connecting with Luis from Fantom Foundation, a recent integration partner of SubQuery earlier this year.

Closing Remarks

ETHDenver 2024 was a triumph for the SubQuery team. We received incredibly positive feedback from our existing customers and partners and made many new connections.

In addition, we’ve also received some constructive feedback, which we will use to improve our services in the future.

Many of our existing customers also completed short interviews with us and we will be sharing this content with our community very soon!
