Our efforts in April resulted in continuous growth in both network support and customer base. We also introduced enhanced features tailored to user needs and successfully conducted our inaugural governance vote.
Another notable update was the distribution of rewards to the winners of the SubQuery Seekers 3-month-long gamified airdrop program, this marked a pivotal achievement for us. Dive into this recap article to gain insights into the highlights of last month's developments!
SubQuery Seekers Challenge: A Resounding Triumph
Your support made the program an enormous success, as hundreds of thousands of web3 natives flocked to the SubQuery Seekers website. All 50 million SQT has been successfully distributed to all eligible participants to claim via the SubQuery Claim Page.
Some key stats from the Seekers program:

We hope everyone enjoyed learning about SubQuery, participating in our network, supporting us on Zealy, and completing all the other challenges. Keep an eye out for more community campaigns with plenty of SQT rewards up for grabs!
SubQuery Foundation's Inaugural Governance Vote
SubQuery's commitment to community governance epitomises the essence of decentralisation in web3. The long-term goal of SubQuery is to put the network in the hands of its community with the Foundation providing overall guidance and governance. To this end, the Foundation has executed its first community-driven decision which was to change the Node Operator Commission Rate or NOCR.

The Estimated APY Feature is now available!
APY, or Annual Percentage Yield, is a term you hear in web3 that measures how much rewards you can expect from locked or saved tokens over a year. An example is when you delegate SQT tokens to the network, you can receive rewards in the form of extra SQT from Node Operators.
In short, APY helps you understand the total amount of SQT rewards you'll receive from participating in the SubQuery Network on an annualised basis.
With this new feature, you will be able to make more informed decisions about how to allocate your SQT tokens, and participate in the SubQuery Network efficiently.

A total of 180 networks are now supported by SubQuery!
We’re constantly expanding our network support and in April, we announced indexing support for Japan Open Chain, Linea, and X Layer.
Here are some of the feedback we’ve received from them:
"Incorporating SubQuery into our platform accelerates data access for developers on Japan Open Chain, streamlining their experience within our growing ecosystem. This empowers them to build more dynamic projects more easily and accurately on a public chain operated by a leading company.”
— Hidekazu Kondo, Founder, Japan Open Chain
> "SubQuery is a game-changer for builders on Linea, providing them with lightning-fast and highly efficient data access on our platform. Plus, its user-friendly interface makes it a breeze to navigate, ensuring seamless adoption and utilisation across our platform. We couldn't be happier with the results so far!”
— Linea Dev Team
New Customers: Pike, Zeeve, Zondax, OriginTrail
Last month, we saw our customer base grow with the addition of four new names: Pike, Zeeve, Zondax, and Origin Trail.
What's particularly intriguing is that three of these new customers were uncovered during the Sub0 event in Bangkok. Before this, we were unaware that these teams were utilising our services. This unexpected discovery brings us immense satisfaction.
Here are some of the feedback we received from them:
“We utilise SubQuery for various purposes, including constructing ETL pipelines and indexing fragmented data from different chains into our database. Subsequently, we query this data to develop Grafana dashboards or integrate it into third-party vendors or websites such as DefiLlama, Token Terminal, and more. Overall, SubQuery has been reliable. We haven’t experienced much downtime and also SubQuery provides really good customer support.”
— Terry Lam, Co-Founder, Pike
"We’ve been using SubQuery for over a year now to get DeFi and gaming data for many of our customers who are running rollups and appchains with Zeeve. So far, SubQuery is a very easy and fast tool to use. It also makes the whole DevEX experience authentic and convenient for us when delivering our end solutions. It's pretty much a cakewalk with SubQuery."
— Ghan Vashishtha, Co-Founder & CTO, Zeeve
“We leverage SubQuery as a pivotal tool for development across all Substrate-based chains. It has enabled us to accelerate the development of an explorer for Paseo, a new Polkadot testnet driven by the community. Using SubQuery is extremely easy and efficient. Even with our deep knowledge of blockchain data and indexing, our choice to keep using SubQuery for integrating it into future projects remains firm. Their team is doing an excellent job!”
— Ainhoa Aldave, COO, Zondax
“We have been using SubQuery on Gnosis because we have a staking interface for our Decentralized Knowledge Graph. And so far, SubQuery has been easy to use. In addition, it also has an available GraphQL interface which makes the whole DevEX amazing.”
— Nikola, Lead Blockchain Engineer at OriginTrail
We extend a sincere appreciation to our new clients for placing their trust in us for their data requirements and for sharing invaluable feedback. Your collaboration is the driving force behind our expansion, and we are truly grateful for your steadfast support!
