We are delighted to announce our support for Polygon zkEVM, where network participants can now take advantage of SubQuery's leading data indexer.

The Polygon zkEVM platform represents an exciting new development in the domain of Ethereum-compatible blockchains. It introduces a robust, scalable, and secure blockchain solution by seamlessly integrating zero-knowledge proofs (zk-proofs) and Ethereum Virtual Machines (EVM).

With SubQuery's flexible, fast, open, and decentralised data indexing solution, Polygon zkEVM  developers can now easily organise and query on-chain data for their protocol and applications. The SubQuery API abstracts the backend so that developers can focus on developing products and improving user experiences instead of creating their own indexing software.

We’re always striving to provide developers with the most comprehensive and efficient indexing experience possible, including the open-source SDK, tools, documentation, and developer support that the SubQuery ecosystem provides. Polygon zkEVM is also supported in SubQuery’s enterprise-level managed service, which provides enterprise-level infrastructure hosting and handles hundreds of millions of requests each day.

“We're delighted to announce our support for Polygon zkEVM, an exciting new development in the world of Ethereum-compatible blockchains that combines two powerful technologies, zero-knowledge proofs (aka zk-proofs) and Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM). By providing our cutting-edge APIs and tools, we empower their community to build innovative products and services on their blockchain-based platform. Exciting times await decentralized applications and innovation.”

Why Use SubQuery?

Polygon zkEVM developers can now enjoy superior indexing capabilities offered by SubQuery, including access to the open-source SDK, comprehensive tools, extensive documentation, and dedicated developer support within the SubQuery ecosystem. Polygon zkEVM is also fully supported by SubQuery's enterprise-level managed service,  ensuring robust infrastructure hosting and handling hundreds of millions of daily requests.

Our experience with customers across all verticals in Ethereum, Polygon, Polkadot, Cosmos, Algorand, NEAR, and Avalanche (such as wallets, networks, explorers, NFT, DeFi, scanners, etc.) has helped us build the best Indexer for developers in web3.

SubQuery is actively working towards decentralising and tokenizing the protocol to establish the SubQuery Network. This network will provide incentivized and verifiable indexing and data servicing to the global community, supporting indexing of projects from Polygon zkEVM and other supported blockchains. By integrating Polygon zkEVM projects into the SubQuery Network, we aim to enhance data accessibility, incentivize collaboration, and drive innovation within the Polygon zkEVM ecosystem.

Polygon zkEVM developers will benefit from the superior SubQuery indexing experience, including the open-source SDK, tools, documentation, and developer support that the SubQuery ecosystem provides. Polygon zkEVM network participants are now able to use SubQuery’s enterprise-level managed service to manage their own projects, making updates as required.

SubQuery is currently focused on decentralising and tokenizing the protocol to build the SubQuery Network. The SubQuery Network will index and service data from projects to the global community in an incentivized and verifiable way and support indexing Polygon zkEVM projects, and those from any other supported Layer-2 from the outset.

About Polygon zkVM

Polygon zkEVM is a decentralized Layer 2 scalability solution for Ethereum. It utilizes cryptographic zero-knowledge proofs to provide validity and fast finality to off-chain computations.

The developer experience on zkEVM is seamless, and no special toolings or new wallets are required for building or interacting with zkEVM. Developers can deploy their smart contracts to the zkEVM, and users can deposit assets from Ethereum and transact off-chain. These transactions are grouped into batches with zero-knowledge proofs attesting to the validity of each transaction.

About SubQuery

SubQuery is a leading blockchain data indexer that provides developers with fast, flexible, universal, and decentralised APIs for web3 projects. We empower developers from over 80+ ecosystems including Ethereum, Polygon, Polkadot, Cosmos, Algorand, NEAR, and Avalanche with rich indexed data to allow them to build intuitive and immersive decentralised applications. This blockchain developer toolkit enables developers to focus on their core use case and front-end without wasting time building a custom backend for data processing activities. In the near future, the SubQuery Network will replicate this scalable and reliable solution in a completely decentralised manner.
