As detailed in our recent announcement of our expanded mission, the opportunity space we’re going to be working in has expanded. We need to decentralise web3 middleware services, without compromise. We’ve already delivered breakthroughs in decentralised data indexing, but our next steps will focus on enhancing the performance of RPCs with the SubQuery Data Node, and then bringing RPCs to the masses, with SubQuery’s Sharded Data Nodes. When taking these steps we will rely on the continued strength and support of our community to reach each new milestone. Together, we unlock the next level of performance increases in web3.

SQT Token Launch
The Public Sale is an opportunity for our community to purchase the SubQuery Token (SQT). The launch of SQT is the next step in the decentralisation of our indexing solution and a move towards community governance.
SQT is a utility token that powers the SubQuery Network with three main use cases:
- To act as a medium of exchange on the network marketplace;
- To create a reward incentive mechanism for Delegators, Consumers,on and Node Operators (data indexers and RPC providers);
- To facilitate governance within the protocol.
How to Buy SQT
The SQT Public Sale will take place on Tuesday 30th January 2024 on the SubQuery Foundation’s website, which will host all sales details and guidelines from early January. Soon it will also have access to the KYC and registration process. At the time of the sale, this page will direct you to the funds processing and purchase UI.
