Today we’re pleased to announce additional support for the Arbitrum network with our integration of the Goerli Testnet. Since our announcement that we support Arbitrum, it was only natural to extend SubQuery’s support to Arbitrum’s testnet environment to support developers with both testing and production applications.
Arbitrum (both One and Nova) are leading Ethereum Layer-2 scaling solution developed by Offchain Labs. An Optimistic Rollup, Arbitrum One provides ultra-fast, low-cost transactions with security derived from Ethereum. Alternatively, Arbitrum Nova is ideal for gaming, metaverse, and socialfi projects, enabling instant confirmation and <$0.01 transactions with minimal trust assumptions.
SubQuery’s flexible, fast, open, and decentralised data indexing solution provides blockchain developers with the tools needed to easily organise and query on-chain data for their protocol and applications. Abstracting the backend, SubQuery provides a custom API and lets developers focus on product development and user experience rather than building their own indexing solutions.
If you are an existing user of The Graph, you can follow the guide here to migrate your project to SubQuery and supercharge your indexing today. The migration from a SubGraph to a SubQuery Project is (by design) easy and quick. It may take you an hour or two to complete the migration, depending on the complexity of your SubGraph.
SubQuery is currently focused on decentralising and tokenizing the protocol to build the SubQuery Network. The SubQuery Network will index and service data from projects to the global community in an incentivized and verifiable way and support indexing Arbitrum projects, and those from any other supported Layer-1 from the outset.

Arbitrum One is a leading Ethereum Layer-2 scaling solution developed by Offchain Labs. An Optimistic Rollup, Arbitrum One provides ultra-fast, low-cost transactions with security derived from Ethereum. Launched in August 2021, the Arbitrum One mainnet beta is EVM-compatible to the bytecode level and has 65%+ TVL in the L2 segment. 400+ DeFi and NFT projects are live in the ecosystem to date. In August 2022, Arbitrum One upgraded to Nitro tech stack, enabling fraud proofs over the core engine of Geth compiled to WASM.
Arbitrum Nova is a leading Ethereum Layer-2 scaling solution developed by Offchain Labs. An AnyTrust solution, Arbitrum Nova is ideal for gaming, metaverse and socialfi projects, enabling instant confirmation and <$0.01 transactions with minimal trust assumptions. Since August 2022, Arbitrum Nova has been the home for Reddit community token holders from r/Cryptocurrency and r/FortniteBR.
SubQuery is a leading blockchain data indexer that provides developers with fast, flexible, universal, and decentralised APIs for web3 projects. We empower developers from over 100+ ecosystems including Ethereum, Polygon, Polkadot, Cosmos, Algorand, NEAR, and Avalanche with rich indexed data to allow them to build intuitive and immersive decentralised applications. This blockchain developer toolkit enables developers to focus on their core use case and front-end without wasting time building a custom backend for data processing activities. In the near future, the SubQuery Network will replicate this scalable and reliable solution in a completely decentralised manner.
